DeltaSauce (American, b. 1994) is a Dallas-based digital artist whose work explores memory, nostalgia, and the emotional terrain of liminal spaces through AI, blending generative technology with the aesthetics of traditional illustration and painting.,,He builds his own AI models from an archive of millions of images he has generated since first experimenting with AI tools in 2021, using them as raw material he shapes into finished scenes.
His approach to process took shape in his father's woodworking shop, where he developed an early appreciation for the transformative act of creation. He describes himself as a “curator of nostalgia”, and his images often depict suburban streets, retro technology, and half-remembered places that read like reconstructed memories.,His images have also been described as a form of escapism, holding moments and objects in suspended time.In November 2023 his Views collection, five hundred one-of-one pieces released through BrainDrops, sold out within two minutes. The series explored themes of observation and detachment, framed as an act of looking through a window that examines the boundary between viewer and subject. In 2024 he presented From Dusk Till Dawn, his first collection of plotted oil-on-canvas paintings chronicling a single night in a small American town.,Each painting was produced through a collaboration with Matr Labs, which executed the works robotically from his AI-composited designs.
His video series Feed, presented online by Fellowship in June 2025, layers found footage, CRT noise, and generative imagery to hold viewers in a tense space between nostalgic memory and surveillance-era spectacle. In an interview about the work, he said the collection “lives on the borderline of a surveillance state and a dream”.In December 2025 he released a brief glimpse into the end of the world on objkt.one, a series imagining the last night before a nuclear apocalypse. The series used a custom-trained AI model that broke each image into large pixel blocks. He traced the imagery partly to the 1980s film Miracle Mile, which imagines a single night before nuclear war.Blockhead, the series' first piece, had been exhibited the previous month at “Art on Tezos Berlin”, presented by OBJKT in Berlin.,
