Daturascore, known as Datura, is a French designer, art director and digital artist based in Paris who creates generative, animated 3D work. She manipulates 3D scenes using a system inspired by cellular automata, selecting parameters and rules that generate distinctive shapes, colors, patterns and movements.
Her fxhash series LIITH extends an exploration she began with -HIVAA-, letting collectors guide the generative process by choosing an initial pattern, a cellular automaton rule and a color palette. In 2023 her work was licensed by Setta Studio for a Metallica music video, and she took part in the Refraction Festival at The Black Box in Denver. In 2024 she exhibited at NFT.NYC in the Animation category and released SUNKEN, an edition of 300 made in collaboration with the artist Nubplus, on fx(hash) via the Base network.
In April 2025 she took part in the exhibition “Syntax Error” at Galerie Data, showing works from her series Architronics, animated black-and-white GIFs that reinvent architecture through simple, continuously transforming 3D structures. That work was described as sitting on the border between geometric abstraction and organicity. In July 2025 she exhibited again at Galerie Data as part of the group show “Forged in Data”.
