Bio
Damien Seguin is a computational designer and creative developer based in London working in generative and data-driven digital art. He builds his own tools, including Nodes, a node-based visual programming tool for the web, which he uses to produce long-form generative art editions released on the Tezos blockchain via the fxhash platform.
In November 2021 he released Window on fxhash, an edition of 512 pieces exploring density and pattern through a grid of wobbly quadrilaterals filled according to seven hand-crafted color palettes. In February 2022 he followed it with Stendhal, a 256-edition data-art piece whose geometry is generated from sentences sampled from Stendhal's novel Le Rouge et le Noir and a sentiment analysis of their tone.
