David was born in Kraków, Poland, and fled with his mother to Denmark at age three, where they lived in refugee camps before settling. He ran a coffee shop and gallery called Monster Times and curated art shows, concerts and events before turning to art full-time.¹

A recurring character he calls Joe runs through his practice, and under a project called Collaborative Jolt Of Expression he invites other artists to create their own unique 1/1 versions of it.³ In 2024, his Stoopid Series released twelve low-priced editions through Manifold, with each new piece raising the price of the rest by a dollar until the set was complete.⁴ He also runs a raffle through his online community of collectors, nicknamed GJOEs, and has livestreamed pieces being drawn on X without undoing mistakes.⁵
