Crow is an artist living and working in Orlando, Florida, who works at the boundary of photography and abstraction. Instead of a canvas or paintbrush, he uses scanners, LED lights, secondhand printers, sandpaper, rain and dirt, building his images through an analog layering process. He is colorblind, and his work explores the visual effects and emotions conveyed by color, often returning to themes of time, mortality, endurance and longevity.,
In his own words, he creates “digital abstract art by misusing basic office equipment”. Nature is a central source of inspiration, from the iridescence of a crow to urban decay and hand-painted signs worn down by humid climates. Among his influences he cites Ralph Steadman, whose energetic, grotesque style he began absorbing after discovering it through Hunter S. Thompson's writing while studying studio art in the early 2000s. He also names Sam Gilliam, Helen Frankenthaler and Robert Rauschenberg among his artistic influences.
He made art privately for nearly two decades without intending to sell it, before public attention around his work followed. In 2022, a piece of his was included in the SuperRare x 0xSociety “Digital Abstraction” exhibition in Montreal, where he saw it shown alongside artists he admires, including Omentejovem, Space Case and Jack Kaido. His prints, produced in editions of one and paired with an NFT, have been shown through Colonna Contemporary gallery, including works such as Rabbit Hunter and Blink, both from 2024.,
