Bio

Crisstiana is an AI artist who combines textures, shapes and vibrant color to translate her emotions and everyday experiences into images. Working mainly with Midjourney, she developed a practice that sits at the intersection of fashion and nature after entering the web3 space. Originally from Romania, she lives in Italy.

She began experimenting with the NightCafe AI generator before moving to Midjourney, where an image of a gas mask emerged unexpectedly from one of her prompts. Crisstiana has linked the image to her own respiratory problems and said she added flowers to make it feel more beautiful. Gas masks also form the subject of aToxic, a collection that reinterprets them by adding “an extra bit of beauty”. She has said her work is a way to explore herself and to raise awareness about mental health. Pieces such as ET have been made available on platforms including SuperRare, Foundation, Objkt.com, KnownOrigin and OpenSea.
