Cooper Jamieson is a generative artist whose work “probes the phenomenological and digital materiality”. He has worked as a research scientist at Caltech, developing biotechnologies for synthetic biology by engineering non-pathogenic strains of E. coli to produce or chemically recycle chemicals through directed evolution.
