Connor Grasso is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Los Angeles who works across photography, 3D and digital media. Raised in a cabin without running water in rural Alaska, he calls his practice psycho-conceptual, using vivid colors, intricate patterns and surreal imagery to explore consciousness and the inner workings of the mind.
Grasso picked up a camera as a teenager in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has since moved between photography, 3D, design and web development, describing each new medium as something that refreshes his approach to the next. He calls this cross-disciplinary process his “ant-pile theory”, the idea that artists constantly gather and exchange fragments of inspiration from everyday life.
