Bio

ColourfulMula, born Casimir Spaulding, is a visual artist and creative director based in New York who works in spray-paint canvases and creates generative NFT collections.^, With the rapper Chief Keef, he co-founded GloGang Worldwide, an established street art brand featuring clothing, toys and other merchandise, more than a decade before their first NFT collection in 2021.

In October 2021 the two launched the GloGang Genesis NFT collection on the Tezos-based platform OneOf, a set of 4,444 generative digital characters described as the first generative collection by a major music artist on Tezos. Its presale of 444 pieces, priced at $50 each, sold out in 37 seconds. Winners of the collection's rarest tickets received a physical print signed by Spaulding and Chief Keef, or a custom painting by Spaulding.

In January 2022 the pair released GloBabies, a second-generation series of 2,222 generative pieces made by mixing two GloGang NFTs, delivered through OneOf and distributed on Rarible. The collection gave holders commercial rights to their individual GloBaby characters, described by OneOf's CEO Lin Dai as the first such grant of commercial rights on the Tezos blockchain. Spaulding's own paintings recur around the motif of the Sun, which he uses as a symbol for the human experience.
