Code_rgb

Code_rgb, publicly credited under the name Chris Barber, makes generative art with code, sharing sketches built from irregular and recursive grid subdivisions.¹ One of his sketches, a flocking simulation that uses a quadtree structure to manage particle interactions, was referenced in coverage of spatial partitioning techniques in generative art.² His series Sea of Shapes was released as a collection on the platform fxhash.³

In Genuary 2025, an annual generative art prompt series, Pizza Punk credited Code_rgb alongside Bruce Holmer, Heeey, and Monokai as inspirations for a nested rectangular spiral piece, One line that may or may not intersect itself.⁴
