Clément Morin is a French 3D artist and director, born in Normandy and trained at Gobelins in Paris, whose work explores the imagination of childhood. His artworks mix wandering, naivety, daydreaming and poetry into a nostalgic gaze on that period of life, aiming, in his words, “to recreate a half-remembered dream”.,
Before working in NFTs, Morin directed several short films and worked as a freelance director for agencies. From 2015 to 2019 he directed Insignificant, a documentary series made in collaboration with the CNRS for the Arte channel.From 2021 his work found an audience in the NFT space, beginning with his Exospheres, a collection of 99 unique 3D planets launched on OpenSea.,
In 2022 he released Chasing The Horizons from his Journey series, which he described as “a love-letter to the games I grew up with and that inspired me throughout my life”, scored by Etienne Forget.That June he released Wandering Stones on Nifty Gateway, a set of pastel landscapes populated by anthropomorphic pebbles, with haikus by Matthieu Lesaint.
In January 2023 he returned to Nifty Gateway with Clement Soulscapes, a collection exploring self-discovery through a character looking out over vast, pastel-colored landscapes.That year he was one of fifteen artists hand-picked by Yam Karkai to take part in “World of Women Artfest”, a collaboration between World of Women and Saatchi Art built around WoW's lore.Also in 2023, his work was included in the first digital art auction held at Sotheby's Paris, and he was commissioned to create a large-scale piece for the department store La Samaritaine in Paris.
