Ciphrd is a France-based artist, developer and programmer interested in the exploration of autonomous systems from which life-like behaviors emerge. He is also renowned as the creator of the generative art platform fx(hash). A well-skilled WebGL/front-end developer, Ciphrd maintained a side hobby in creative coding before eventually going on to develop fx(hash) in hopes of creating the platform he himself had always dreamed of. Since its launch, fx(hash) has become the inclusive home for hash-based generative art platform on Tezos, empowering artists to showcase and sell their work to a community of passionate collectors. While continuing to develop the platform, Ciphrd also pursues his artistic practice through iconic projects such as RGB Elementary Cellular Automaton, which references Stephen Wolfram’s work on automata, and Ethereal Microcosm, where he explores the intricate processes of biological growth.
