cinziagabrielph is the joint practice of Cinzia and Gabriel, two artists based in the province of Bari, Italy. Cinzia works mainly in analog film photography, while Gabriel favors avant-garde and digital art.Together they create images described in their own words as an experiment “across art, technology and visual languages to create new ways of seeing”.
Cinzia's introduction to film photography began when she found her father's Ricoh Shotmaster Zoom camera, and she started out shooting landscapes before moving into portraiture as she added Lomography, instant and SLR cameras to her kit. She has described analog photography as offering “a unique freedom of expression”, since a shot's exact light and grain can never be recreated the same way twice. Their portraits and nature photographs are planned in advance, from choosing subjects and outfits to scouting locations, almost always outdoors in natural light.
Alongside this, Gabriel's side of the practice moves into digital and generative work, including a series called Loops, made with GabUI, a generative interface the duo built for transforming and corrupting images. An earlier body of work, Early AI, gathers video pieces made during what they call the first wave of generative AI tools. They have also worked in 3D, with pieces including Not Just a Chair in 2025 and How Many Eyes Do We Need to See? in 2026.
Their work has been shown at venues including “Eternal Peace Exhibition” at Room Atelier in kHaus during Art Basel 2024 in Basel, Beeple Studios in Charleston, and imnotArt Gallery in Chicago. In 2026, cinziagabrielph co-curated “ELSEWHERE” with Boundless8D, muriellondon and sashachudo, and separately launched “METAMORPHOSIS”, a women-artists-only open call released on objkt.com on Tezos with muriellondon.,
