Chris Wallace, founder of UltraDao and the Woodies, is a generative artist and collector in the fxhash community. His work The Geometry of Rain, co-created with GPT-4, explores the relationship between geometric shapes and rain and the intersection of mathematical precision and organic fluidity. He arrived at the piece through trial and error, refining prompts and hand-editing the code GPT-4 produced. The title was also generated by the AI.
Wallace is also known in the generative art community as a collector. He has taken part in public discussions about collecting, including a panel hosted by The Blind Gallery where he spoke about his collecting journey alongside fellow collectors Pronoia and ClownVamp.
