Bio

Celil Bezeng is a Turkey-based photographer working across street, documentary and portrait photography, whose practice has extended into producing and exhibiting NFT photography on platforms including SuperRare, hug.art and 6529.io.^, He holds a degree in Photography and Cinematography from Anadolu University and is based in Turkey.

Bezeng holds a degree in Photography and Cinematography from Anadolu University and has photographed in 17 countries, producing series in street, portrait and documentary photography.^, In 2015 he traveled to a rural village in Cambodia, where he documented a wedding as part of a series on community, tradition and resilience.

His NFT photography series Lines of the City was produced in 2025 and shot across Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. The black-and-white series sets human silhouettes against pedestrian crossings and concrete lines to explore the tension between urban geometry and human presence. A related project, Lines of Light, continues this exploration of light, people and lines found in city streets. Bezeng has also released the series EMPHOTOIA, black box photographs in which light is turned into graphic art.
