Matthew Seremet is a digital artist who taught himself HTML, CSS and PHP as a child, building his first content management system at age 13. He later studied Graphic Design and Visual Fine Arts at Manchester Community College in Connecticut, earning Associate degrees in both. His practice spans digital, traditional and 3D work, and his art is available through MakersPlace.
As a child, Seremet drew characters from Disney, Garfield and Dragon Ball Z before teaching himself to make animated GIFs, cursors and buddy icons for AIM, finding a paying patron for the buddy icons while still in middle school. In 2026 he created Space Wanderer, a large-scale projection mapping work made for the OFFF Festival open call that transformed the facade of Disseny Hub Barcelona into a reactive digital environment by combining hand-drawn character animation with procedural particle systems.
