The Venezuelan artist cajabeats produces glitch-inspired digital paintings built through controlled, deliberate abstraction rather than genuine software malfunction or data corruption. He has described his process as producing “glitch-like works in a controlled environment”, an idea explored in his 2022 series Expected Behavior.
cajabeats works without formal art training, a background well suited to the loose, exploratory nature of glitch aesthetics. On the platform fxhash he extended that precision-driven abstraction toward light and color refraction in works such as Long exposure and Squares and dots. He also released a collection of digital paintings depicting Venezuelan cities.
