Caesuras is a pseudonymous identity used by the artist Casey Reas since 2017, first as a handle for anonymous online fragments and, from 2021, for generative artwork released on Hic et Nunc. The name began as an autocorrect glitch that replaced "caseyreas" with "caesuras." The word describes a pause in a poem or piece of music, and that sense of interruption runs through the work released under the name.
