C4RDINAL is a Canadian artist working under a pseudonym in digital and crypto art.,His animated works use glitch effects to explore the unconscious norms of physical and digital life,often built around wordplay.He began exploring Bitcoin in the mid-2010s while working in finance in Toronto,,before entering the NFT space in 2021.
His first NFT purchase was AlottaMoney's The Nativity of Shrimp in February 2021,and his own first mint came soon after with the Mooncats collection.He works primarily in Procreate and Photoshop, and has also added Cinema 4D to his process.
He became an independent artist and part of the Noble Gallery community,and in February 2023 sold his piece ROAD LESS TRAVELED for 5.5 ETH.In 2023 Sotheby's described his work as tackling complex storylines and double entendres that contemplate the unconscious norms of physical and digital life.
In April 2025 he released VANTAGE as part of Noble Gallery's Noble Packs alongside four other artists.In October 2024 his work was shown in the exhibition “Higher Power” at Ninfa Labs in Milan.
