ByLauraTovar is a multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, painting, graphic design, photography, sculpture and collage, alongside writing. In 2024 the artist was selected for HUG's inaugural 100 Artists to Watch, a juried list including curators from the Museum of Modern Art and Christie's.
The artist has described their practice in the words: “My sketches are the cry of a silent idea and the result is a living work that pulses when seen.” Their stated credo is that “art will always be the soul of society”.
