BRAINPASTA is a cartoonist working in free figuration and outsider art, drawing characters rooted in a childhood spent dreaming of becoming a comic book artist. They have described art as “my escape”, a role it has held since childhood.¹ A brainpasta character reimagined facing the opposite direction became the basis for BRAINCROCS, a collection to which other community artists contribute their own 1/1 reptile versions.²
