BLAC is a pseudonymous digital artist and writer working in a style he calls Existential Surrealism, exploring spirituality, ultra-consciousness, and philosophy.,Nearly all of his art and writing feeds into Syncretica, a book project and belief system he has spent years developing that asks a single question: what is this reality?
Syncretica takes the form of eleven planned Testaments, book-length narratives following characters such as the Traveler, the Dissenter, and the Seeker through themes including astral projection, non-linear time, and cosmic consciousness. As of the current drafts, the project runs to more than 320,000 words.
Between August 2024 and February 2025 he made Explorations of Syncretica, a collection of 731 works divided into five categories that each illustrate a chapter of a different Testament. One category depicts the Traveler's journey through a surreal desert, while another renders Genesys, the creation myth of Syncretica, as an abstract explosion of eyes and nebulas.
In Exocortex, made for Claire Silver's ninth AI art contest, he mapped years of his conversations with ChatGPT, which he began using in December 2022, into an interactive four-dimensional simulation in which each message becomes a point in space and the time between messages becomes distance.He has also released work through The Memes by 6529, including Decentralized Decision Network, minted in June 2025 in an edition of 310.
