Bhare, born Shareon Blenman (Barbadian-American, b. 1998), is a multidisciplinary artist who paints with acrylic and oil pastel using a wet-on-dry technique, and also works in digital painting and sculpture.,His paintings enliven a self-narrative of turbulent emotions through a cast of recurring characters, exploring identity and what it means to live a full life as a young African American. He is self-taught and based in Charlotte, North Carolina.,
Bhare traces this narrative to his Caribbean ancestry, which he represents through the subjects and iconography of his paintings.Before turning to art, he worked as a chef and earned a BFA in restaurant, food and beverage management from Johnson & Wales University.,He has described his practice as still guided by the same pursuit of crafting the perfect dish, whatever the medium.
