Benzi is a video artist who films other artists and uses what he calls a “unique digital painting technique” to turn the footage into video art.He presents the resulting video art through restored objects, including antique clocks, as well as holographic projections and multi-frame installations of his own design.,,,
Through his project Time To Be Happy, Benzi pairs restored antique clocks with new video art contributed by other artists, among them Swoon and Jack Butcher.,The project has also functioned as a gallery, hosting curated exhibitions such as “Phosphorescence” in Miami in 2024 and “Photography Is Dead” in New York in 2025.
His limited-edition works include The Chiquita Banana, a 100-minute looping video frame featuring 68 artists filmed between 2019 and 2020, and Black Velvet, a 92-minute looping video frame featuring 48 artists.,He has also created Empty Frame, a multi-frame installation that uses a single 4K projector and his hologramic projection technique to tell six stories across ten limited-edition copies.In another project, he collaborated with the meditation app Inscape and the Edition Hotels Group to create an open-eye video experience for hotel guests.
