Bio
Bèfè, also known as BEFE, is a digital artist who has released work through SuperRare and 6529's Meme Lab. Working under the description “I'm suffering from Multiple Art Disorder”, the artist created MEMOVEMENT for The Memes by 6529 in October 2023, depicting community builders as mythological heroes resisting forces that stifle art and culture.
The following month Bèfè released UNCAGED ARTIST through 6529's Meme Lab, an animated edition of 18 described as a reflection of one of the characters from MEMOVEMENT. Its accompanying text frames the piece as “a declaration of freedom”, describing an artist who breaks free from restriction and expresses that freedom through dance.
