Bassed, also known as Basseado, is a musician and sound artist based in Valencia, Spain, whose practice pairs original music and sound design with 3D animation and visuals. He spent ten years composing and producing music for projects in Argentina and worldwide before entering the NFT space in July 2020. Since then he has been learning animation and 3D techniques to give his music a visual counterpart.
His generative collection BASSHEADZ pairs more than 100 music loops with 3D animated artworks whose visual elements react to each instrument in the music. Each piece is generated from more than 40 musical and visual attributes across 14 categories, with the drum, bass and background elements setting one of four styles, Hard, Indie, Party or Epic. Additional instruments add further layers and increase or decrease rarity.In INTERMINABLE, a generative music project released on Async Art, he tells a single story across three songs with lyrics, structured into 24 layers across eight categories. Each mint combines a unique set of those layers, and its imagery reacts to the sound.
He has also worked as a sound designer for other artists' NFT projects, providing the music for Identity Masquerade by Skeenee, released on Ethereum, and for Internet and Me by Barbi S.A., released on Solana and Ethereum.
