Wieslaw Borkowski, a Polish generative artist known as baiwei, has exhibited his NFT and generative work internationally, including at Art Basel Hong Kong in 2022. That year he took part in “NFTs + The Ever-Evolving World of Art”, a group show of more than 20 generative artists organized by TZ APAC, which included a live-minting installation built with FXhash, a generative art marketplace on Tezos.
baiwei has produced a numbered generative series titled MEMOIR, including MEMOIR V, MEMOIR IX, and MEMOIR XII. MEMOIR IX was minted in December 2023 and later resold on the secondary market. On his 6529.io profile, created in March 2024, he describes himself as a “Provenancer and cryptochronicler”. On January 30, 2025 he released Meme Contributooorr #66 through 6529's Meme Lab, made to commemorate the Memes exhibition in Tokyo that month.
