Leisk's earliest fxhash releases, Folded and Folded Circle, both from December 2021, were hard-edge geometric compositions of stripes and folds drawn from 1960s hard-edge painting.³ In June 2022 he began working with organic, trunk-like shapes in Organica, a small collection released on objkt.com during Tezos Art Week.² That exploration led to Yashinoki, an fxhash collection of 256 editions released in September 2022 that took its forms from cross-sections of palm tree trunks he had cut down in his garden and from Japanese woodblock prints.^2,3 The same month he released Kaibō, also 256 editions on fxhash, which dissected Yashinoki's organic forms into composable geometric shapes before letting them dissolve back into organic growth.^3,4

In 2023 Leisk was selected for the sixth cohort of the Vertical Crypto Art Residency, a twelve-week remote program.¹ For the residency's closing auction he produced Perforations, an fxhash edition of 100 released in July 2023 that imagines shield, ellipse and egg-shaped artefacts pierced with holes and buried for millennia, their surface patterns generated with Voronoi tessellation.^3,5 Two earlier works, Folded and Kaibō, were printed at 3 by 3 metres and permanently installed on building walls in Ballina, Australia, as part of a 2023 street art initiative run by Ballina Shire Council and the Northern Rivers Community Gallery.⁶ His 2024 open editions Voronoi Variegata and Dendrigrafts continued this focus on natural structure.³ Voronoi Variegata, whose cell patterns echo honeycombs, bones and tree canopies, won third place in the generative art category of the Optimism-sponsored We Love The Art competition.^1,3 Dendrigrafts grafts a growing network of branch-like nodes onto a host shape, an image Leisk likens to the temples of Angkor Wat being swallowed by the jungle.³
