Tokyo based Japanese contemporary artist. Works in installations (physical & virtual), media art, mixed media. She has been consistently expressing the magnificence of each of our existence and the unknown possibilities we all have. In her video works, she uses actual light as a material. She makes light by a physical way she invested, manipulates the light and films it. Then the videos are digitally edited into video art. The flickering and random movement of the actual light gives the viewer a sense of peace. Light is the source of creation, the magic that brings us evolution. And it is always within us.
