artonymousartifakt is an anonymous digital artist who has worked on SuperRare since 2018. His work combines artificial intelligence and surrealist elements with a recurring interest in skeletal imagery. He is also recognized within the crypto art community as a collector of early AI art.
Among his early pieces is the series The unknowns, which includes The unknowns 6.9, collected on SuperRare in November 2018. He also released Alienated skull (2018) and Organic (2020), both on SuperRare. In April 2022 his work was included in a public digital art exhibition in Piazza Gaia Aulenti during Milan's Miart art fair, alongside artists including XCOPY and Coldie. His work was also included among 137 artists featured in Collecting Art Onchain, a book-and-NFT project by Kate Vass Galerie documenting a decade of onchain art history. Other artists have cited him, alongside Pindar Van Arman and David Young, as an influence on early AI-driven crypto art.
