Artemis is a generative artist working at the intersection of code, machine learning and physical process, translating algorithmic systems into images and paintings. Early works were produced by training neural networks to convert spoken or written language directly into visual output. That approach later expanded into plotter drawings and generative oil paintings on archival paper.
Artemis trained neural networks to turn short text prompts into images, producing works such as Chance Encounter from a prompt describing a boy meeting a machine in the dark. In 2024 Inflection marked Artemis' inaugural plotter release, launched through Tribul Auctions as the curatorial debut of SuzanneNFTs, in an edition of eight pairing a physical plotter drawing on archival paper with a corresponding 1/1 NFT. That August the SuperRare work Arch (bits) appeared in “Tales of Seasons”, a physical group show curated by AnLoremi featuring seventeen artists.
