Antigoon is an artist who builds machines that can draw, using them to produce physical works in unconventional media such as burned gunpowder, blasted charcoal and solvent-dragged ink. Their work is included among 100 contemporary artists featured in Tracing the Line, a book on pen plotter and drawing machine art published by Vetro Editions.
Antigoon's series include Mechanical Buffing, made with solvent-dragged ink on wood and Yupo paper, and Flagrare, made by burning gunpowder onto wood panels. Other bodies of work include Clear Charred Coat, using blasted charcoal on wood, and Ligature, an ink-on-paper series released in editions of 25.
