Bio

Angie Mathot, who also works under the pseudonym PtiteAngele, is a vector artist whose digital illustrations are built from Bézier curves, strong contrasts and colour.^, Born in Belgium, she is based in Maastricht, in the Netherlands, and works across both traditional client design and NFT art.^,

Mathot studied graphic design in Liège, Belgium, from 2001 to 2004 and has worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for more than fifteen years. Her practice centres on character design, blending traditional illustration with blockchain-based digital art. She has been developing The Healing Tarot, a personal tarot deck inspired by the Waite-Smith tarot. In December 2024 she released The Magician, a card from the deck, through the Gamma Prints launchpad as a limited edition of thirty.

In December 2023 she contributed The Lute Player to Dutch Homage World, a collaborative NFT collection launched by the Dutch Art Community pairing homages to Dutch Old Masters with the Dutch national colours.^, The piece pays tribute to Dutch Golden Age painter Frans Hals through bold colour and modern lines, capturing the festive spirit of the era. In November 2024 she released En Route to the Bull, card 298 in The Memes collection on 6529.io, in an edition of 310. In 2024 her work was also shown at the Oculus Gallery at the World Trade Center in New York.
