Bio

Andrés Zighelboim is a Venezuelan oil painter who works under the name andresdelvecchio, making surrealist, expressionist paintings he has described as the Baroque reimagined. His paintings explore erotic energy transmutation through magical realism and Jewish mysticism, and he has said, “For love, I have lived for art”.

Under that name he has released the long-running numbered series DYBBUK MASQUE on SuperRare. He has also shown paintings such as ANIMA SHAKTI, an oil on panel, at Trevor Jones's Art Angels Live event at NFC.

In 2025 he took part in the Bali Art Residency, a month-long international program where ten artists lived and made work together. His contribution was described as “hybrid mythologies where wounds become portals”. In 2026 he collaborated with the artist MLow on THE SOFT CONSPIRACY, a 6,969-piece collection released on the Shape network and OpenSea.^,
