Bio
Andreas Birath (b. 1974) is a figurative painter whose work draws on classical training toward a contemporary sensibility, treating tradition as a tool rather than an authority. He approaches painting as a practice of accuracy and restraint, resisting spectacle in favor of precision. Born in Lidköping, Sweden, he trained in classical animation, illustration and graphic design before enrolling at The Florence Academy of Art in 2002.
