Andrea Chiampo is an Italian artist based in London who works as a concept designer for film and games alongside an independent digital art practice. His personal work uses ZBrush digital sculpting and 3D rendering to produce oneiric, creature-filled images that resemble antique lithographs, merging classical craft with contemporary technology.
Chiampo grew up in Spoleto, Italy, where his family's antique business immersed him early in classical prints and sculpture, an influence he still channels into his work. After graduating in industrial design, he moved into concept art and design for the entertainment industry, contributing to productions for studios including 20th Century Fox, Netflix, Marvel and Disney. In 2019 he began FUTURED PAST, a personal collection of digitally sculpted illustrations built around symbolism and secrecy, which he releases without detailed descriptions, saying “I want each viewer's personal interpretation to become the ticket to their own journey”.
