alterebro, also known as Jorge, is a creative developer and generative artist working at the intersection of code, systems and visual expression. Using JavaScript, p5.js, SVG and other creative coding tools, he builds generative pieces, real-time visuals and interactive experiments driven by randomness, structure and iteration. His work explores how simple rules and constraints can generate complex, evolving forms.
He is particularly interested in generative art on the blockchain, where code becomes both the tool and the artwork, and has published work on the platforms fxhash, EditArt and OBJKT.Individual pieces include Stella's Paradox, a reinterpretation of Frank Stella's 1966 work Untitled, and 16x16, made for Genuary, the annual generative art community challenge held each January.,Persistence uses fxhash's fx(params) system to generate further iterations of the work.
