Alice Gordon, who signs her artist statements as Alice Lane Gordon, makes art with AI text-to-image and text-to-video tools, including Midjourney, working from raw generated outputs that she upscales rather than edits. She calls her approach “absurdist surreal lonerism”, a style she traces to the surrealist movement and to a lifelong habit of sketching and doodling.,
Her 2023 series Cognitive Behaviour draws on her own therapy sessions to depict anxiety, insecurity, alienation and mental fatigue, blending AI-driven post-photography with neo-surrealism.The series was shown at the Paris AI Action Summit in February 2025.She unveiled her second series, Clonism, at Kate Vass Galerie's “Node to Node” Art Salon in Paris in October 2023.Released through K011, Clonism reimagines cloning as an everyday banality in a pastel pop aesthetic rather than the grim, metallic imagery typical of science fiction, critiquing consumer society's trivialization of individuality through mass production.
Her work has also appeared in “Virtually Yours: Your Body, Your Image”, curated by Anika Meier at OOR Studio in Berlin in 2025,and in the 2025 edition of Art Dubai Digital. In March 2025, Fellowship listed her among its resident artists featured in that month's Daily Highlights series, sold through reserve auctions and fixed-price sales.Kate Vass Galerie represents her 2023 series of unique fine art prints, each paired with a matching 1/1 NFT, among them Clonism #15.,
