aitso is a video artist who has created experimental visuals for live music since 2005, starting out making visuals for his own music before creating them for other Vancouver musicians. He relocated to Montreal in 2010 to focus exclusively on visuals for other artists, and has toured since 2015 with acts including Wolf Parade.
When the 2020 pandemic halted touring, he moved into live-streaming and music video production, making videos for musicians including Land of Talk and Spencer Krug. With the psych doom band Anunnaki, he released the VHS Immanentize the Eschaton / Two Treatise on Gnostic Thought, 78 minutes of audio and video covering two Anunnaki albums, limited to 50 copies worldwide.
