Boldeanu came to photography without formal training, after a career that included work as Romania's cultural representative in the EU, a magazine editor, and a radio moderator. She has said that years spent volunteering with autistic children shaped the empathetic approach she brings to her portraits. Her work has been featured in magazines and exhibitions in cities including New York, Paris, and Prague, and she has served as Art Director at NFT Bucharest.¹ Her photographs have also been shown on ArtCrush Gallery's digital outdoor billboards in Portugal, alongside dozens of other international artists.³ On SuperRare, she describes her own practice as “Restoring people's self image since 2015”.²
