Bio

Absurdeity is an artist with no formal training in the visual arts who works primarily in AI-assisted and glitch-based video art. He came to art by a circuitous route, having first pursued video production as a teenager before an interest in science led him instead toward an advanced degree and a career in the healing arts.

As a teenager, Absurdeity and his collaborators received a national award from MGM for a video project during his senior year of high school. He had planned to study cinema at the University of Southern California before turning to science instead. He shares his AI-assisted and glitch-based work through the platforms objkt.com, Zora and Exchange.art. One of his works is grouped in a series titled Secret Lives of Vulcans on objkt.com. He is also an active collector of digital art on the Tezos blockchain.
