6529, also known as Punk6529, is a pseudonymous NFT collector.He owns CryptoPunk #6529, a 2017 work by Larva Labs.6529 built The Memes, a CC0 meme card collectionpublished through his platform 6529.io.He also founded the 6529 Museum, home to a permanent NFT collection, and 6529 Capital, an asset management firm focused on NFT infrastructure.
6529 describes his mission as one “to accelerate the development of an open metaverse”. He has said the goal is to move “a critical mass of people to building a global network on decentralized systems”. Alongside The Memes, he built the NFT collections Next Gen and Gradient.The Memes is community-curated,with individual cards minted by different artists,and a group called Team 6529 voting on which pieces are selected.
