0xfff is a graphic and interaction design studio founded by Leonardo Angelucci and Sabrina Cerea, based in Lugano and Zürich, Switzerland, working mostly with culture and institutions.0xfff makes fully onchain artworks that use blockchain infrastructure itself as material, from cross-chain bridgingto smart contracts that grow and evolve over time.,
Released on 8 January 2024, You Are Here is an onchain conceptual-generative artwork whose tokens can be bridged between EVM-compatible blockchains, with every transfer drawing a visual trace between the two chain IDs that intensifies the more a token is bridged between them.,The 34-token edition is generated fully onchain as SVG, using LayerZero for bridging and CREATE2 with xdeployer to keep a single consistent contract address across chains. One token, You Are Here #42161, ties a “you are here” marker to chain ID 42161 (Arbitrum) within a map of other EVM chains, making blockchain infrastructure legible as a situated condition rather than an abstract, placeless one.
In Honest Work, released in April 2024 on Highlight, each token presents an endless to-do list: completing a task under the right conditions adds new tasks, so the list can grow indefinitely. The 100-piece edition was accompanied by a single auctioned work, Do Nothing for a Century (Redeemable), whose to-do list opens with one task, “Do Nothing for a Century”, followed by further tasks scaled to decades and centuries.
0xfff also curated “World Computer Sculpture Garden” (2024), a show held entirely on Ethereum and described as an artistic smart contract that is itself a showcase of artistic smart contracts, all fully onchain. For the show, Figure31 collaborated with 0xfff on a piece whose travels are recorded entirely on-chain.The exhibition was later presented as part of Rhizome World, a pop-up exhibition series, in New York in May 2025.The studio also teaches at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland and, in its own artistic work, experiments with the relation between digital technology and the principles of meditation, body and mind.
