Acrylic Intro: Shakti

Shakti represents leaving the mundane world behind in order to re-unite with the true universal energy. Standing at the entrance to a deeper understanding, either having 'lost' everything suddenly or due to being forced to sacrifice all that we were before. The tunnel is separation from known to unknown and in isolation we pass through the veil, just as a dying person lets go of the physical world before passing into the unseen - There is no going back. Acrylic on canvas The words come from personal experiences so I've related them from memory with emotion as best I could.
