Damesels In Defi: June "Rollups" Redthread

This manipulated AI image resembles an ideal, idea of a powerfully beautiful woman I’ve had the honor and privilege to cross paths with on this journey: WEB3 and the intimacies of NFTS.

@june_rollupsredthread The term “Rollups” in the title is defined as: one element in the set of tools and infrastructure being built as scaling solutions for the Ethereum network. They consist, in general, of networks which prioritize their ability to compute transactions and smart contract functionality, and then ‘roll up’ those transactions to Ethereum Mainnet for secure verification of their validity. There are different ways of approaching this problem from a technical point of view, namely Zero Knowledge, or ZK, rollups, and Optimistic rollups. Arbitrum and Optimism are prominent examples. For a full glossary of terms visit consensys.net.

The connection of rollup and June’s creations are wonderfully surreal and in alignment to the term “Rollup”. She weaves red thread in physical space that allows viewers to explore the interpretation of human relationships from various points of view, such as social, cultural, and spiritual ones. She is deeply inspired by ancient Chinese belief that an invisible red line joins those who are meant to find each other.

As a SearchLight Curator, and founder of CelebrityU Talks, I’ve had the honor on multiple occasions to interview this fascinating and gentile soul. My Friend, June @june_redthread on Twitter is an important person of statement for women on woman about women in Web3. I love what she does and who she is.
