I leaned my face toward the water. I don’t know what I saw. Perhaps a figure, perhaps only time split into fragments.
This work documents fifteen minutes spent with a reflection, in an era where the perception of self is reproduced anew each day. Myth, media, machine, and consciousness—all within the same wave. In the flickering light of analog screens, we are confronted with today’s version of an ancient myth.
Within a single gaze exist both past and future; both gods and algorithms. At times that gaze belongs to you, at times to me.
So, how real is this reflection? And how long can you withstand it?

“Being Narcissus for 15 Minutes” is a confrontation, a performance, and a moment of collapse. Like that instant before the mirror when you see not with your eyes, but with your mind. It is not only the loss of the self, but of the meaning of everyone and everything that defines who you are.
