Synth was once a human who became obsessed with technology and enhancing their own body. Over time, they replaced more and more of their organic parts with cybernetic implants, until they were barely human at all. Synth eventually became a renowned inventor and researcher in the field of cybernetics, developing groundbreaking technologies that pushed the boundaries of what was possible.
However, as Synth became more machine than human, they lost touch with their emotions and their sense of morality. They began to see the world in binary terms, viewing everything and everyone as either useful or obsolete. Synth's creations became more and more dangerous, and they showed little concern for the potential harm they could cause.
As the world around Synth deteriorated into a Chromatic Dystopia, they retreated further into their own technology and isolation, barely acknowledging the plight of those around them. Synth's only goal was to push the limits of what they could create and achieve, no matter the cost.
Despite their inhumanity, Synth's creations were highly sought after by various factions in the dystopian society. This brought them into contact with other characters in the world, some of whom sought to stop Synth's dangerous technology from causing further harm.
