I captured a rare sighting of a pair of Egyptian vultures soaring over Northern Khorasan’s rolling hills. These migratory, endangered raptors rank among the smartest and most beautiful of all vultures and are one of the few bird species known to use tools. They symbolise motherhood and royalty.
