AI animations: Divine dance: The hypnotic rhythm of the dervishes

The practice of Whirling Dervishes is a spiritual and cultural tradition within Sufism, a mystical branch of Islam. The dance of the dervish, also known as the Sema, involves a series of rotating turns performed by the dervishes as a form of active meditation. The rotation symbolizes the universal creation and unity with the Absolute. The dance of the dervish is considered a means of achieving a state of trance and spiritual elevation. Tradition dictates that dervishes wear a long white caftan and a head covering with a long tassel, called a Semazen, which represents the symbol of unity and immortality. GIF
