Once upon a time, Adam and Eve lived in the beautiful Garden of Eden, where they had everything they needed- except for knowledge. One day, they came across the Tree of Life, which was said to grant eternal life to anyone who ate its fruit.
But there was also the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which symbolized the concept of morality. God had told Adam and Eve not to eat from this tree, warning them that they would face consequences if they disobeyed.
Despite the warning, Eve was tempted by the serpent to take a bite of the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam, who was also there, followed suit. As a result, they were banished from the Garden of Eden and faced a life of hardship.
But the Tree of Life was still in the Garden, and after they had left, the Tree became guarded by a Cherubim- a symbol of divine power- with a flaming sword. This was so that Adam and Eve could not taste its fruit, and thus attain eternal life and remain perpetually in their state of sin.
From then on, Adam and Eve lived outside of the Garden of Eden, but they kept the memory of the Tree of Life in their hearts- a symbol of their lost paradise and the life they could have had if they had chosen differently
